The Many Talents of Hannibal Heyes

Superior Intellect
Using a gun to settle his differences wasn’t Heyes’ style. Not that he couldn’t, of course. He just preferred to use his intellect instead, brain over brawn, as it were. And, boy, could he talk his way into or out of just about anything.

Poker
Very few could outsmart the great Heyes in a poker game — and even then only when he let them. He also used cards to buy time and make a point.

Romance
Ah, yes, one of Heyes’ more attractive qualities. He certainly was a ladies man, a gentleman, a man’s man. He stole hearts as well as he stole money.

Horsemanship
Check out the natural-born horsemanship talents of the great Hannibal Heyes. Though he was most often seen riding a sorrel, he could ride just about anything — and ride it well.

Safe-Cracking
He was often frustrated trying to open the newer and more invincible safes, but only because they slowed him down!

Sewing — Yup! Sewing! — and Singing
What can’t Hannibal Heyes do? Not much. He can mend the bullet holes in his clothes and Curry’s and serenade anyone listening to his beautiful voice.
