February 24, 2010: Happy 70th Birthday, Pete.

Transformation: A music video remembering Pete's most beloved character, Hannibal Heyes, on this, what would have been Pete's 70th birthday. Always loved. Never forgotten. (This video is also on YouTube.)

Pete's Scenes from The Fugitive. From 1965. Episode: "Fun and Games and Party Favors." As a family's chaffeur, Kimble (played by David Janssen) must also chaperone their daughter's party. But then a crime buff crashes the soiree — armed with Kimble's wanted poster. This video is just of the scenes Pete Duel appeared in; about 10 minutes total. Also now on YouTube at my HeyesFan Channel.

On the eve of Pete's passing 39 years ago (December 31), I've created this memorial video: Remembering Pete Duel December 2009. A larger version (in dimensions) of the video is also on YouTube (be sure to click HQ under the movie to view it in high quality).

Ironside: The Complete First Season has been released on DVD and features the episode Perfect Crime, which co-starred, yep, you guessed who. I have made a collection of Pete's scenes from his role as Jonathan Dix; they are divided into two Parts: Part 1 (17 MB) and Part 2 (13 MB). Also on YouTube: Part 1 and Part 2. Plus: A little more than 300 video captures from this episode: View Vidcaps Here.

In the meantime, I found EZTVLinks.com, a place online that features all of Pete's episodes of Alias Smith & Jones (with the exceptions of Return to Devil's Hole and The Day They Hanged Kid Curry; also included are a few of Roger's). These episodes are viewable in full so, for those of you who haven't been able to see the show, or a particular episode, you can find them here. I'd love to hear whether they play well or not for you.

Slow Motion is my latest video tribute to Pete. The song is called "Slow Motion" by David Gray. A larger version (in dimensions) of the video is also on YouTube (be sure to click HQ under the movie to view it in high quality).

RECENT ADDITIONS

I've uploaded 456 video caps from Pete's reportedly most favorite role: as Casey Poe from his guest appearance in The Psychiatrist: God Bless the Children.

BOOK: "Complicated, Simple Me: Peter Deuel In His Own Words" edited by Debora Hardi. anakinobiwan321 has made a video celebrating Hannibal Heyes. You can view it at OneTrueMedia.com to the song You're Beautiful by James Blunt. Enjoy.

Please stay tuned. There is plenty more to come. If you have questions or would like to comment on anything, please contact me!

I'm still working on a video that celebrates Hannibal Heyes himself and will let you know when it's finished and posted.

Pete Duel: In His Own Words

On Being Pete Duel
I dare to dress as I prefer. I don’t believe any star has to always be ‘on.’ I refuse to dress up unless it’s actually appropriate. I attempt to fit into the general atmosphere, remain myself in jeans and a sweater or jacket over a sport shirt. Why be overly influenced by others? In warm weather, I arrive at the studio barefoot and remain so until I have to put on socks and shoes for a scene. 1967

On Relationships
I always have had the tendency to go with one girl at a time. I have sometimes found things got a little sticky because of that; because of my proclivity for becoming very involved. Then, boom, it’s over, and I run around like a chicken with my head cut off. You know, looking for another girl. 1967
