Remembering Pete Duel

Pete Duel was also a guest on a few game shows. They included Hollywood Squares, The Dating Game, and Name Droppers. As well, he was interviewed on The Woody Woodbury Show, The Dick Cavett Show, and The Merv Griffin Show.

He was a music judge on Happenings 68, and in Target Espionage—You!, a U.S. Dept. of Defense training film, as well as The Man Nobody Liked, a service film. In 1970, Pete narrated the ecology-defense documentary, Ah Man...See What Youve Done.

In November 1999, the television series E! Mysteries and Scandals aired a 30-minute show on Pete’s life and death under the title, “Peter Duel.”

Although grainy and overexposed, here is a short clip of Pete enjoying fishing in the mountains.

On The Dick Cavett Show: Comic Legends, Dick narrates both a rehearsal and a master shot scene of his acting debut on 'Alias Smith & Jones' from the episode '21 Days to Tenstrike.' In The Dick Cavett Show 1 you'll see Pete 'off-camera' as well as rehearsing; in The Dick Cavett Show 2 you'll see Pete filmed in a 'master shot,' wherein the entire scene is filmed from one camera.
