The most highly anticipated DVD, of course, is the one that features an interview with Geoffrey about his beloved brother, Peter. Unfortunately — or, fortunately, depending on how you see it — we were unable to limit this presentation to just one disc. That’s because there was a lifetime of memories to explore AND we spent considerable time going through boxes and boxes of family photos, pictures Geoffrey hadn’t even seen in years, in order to bring you the best and most wide variety of images. They simply couldn’t all fit on one or even two (or three or…) discs.
The 10-disc DVD set contains 7.5-hours that feature the life, passing, and legacy of Peter Deuel. The set includes Geoffrey Deuel in both candid conversation and formal interviews from 2013-2015 and features never-before-seen photos and home video, as well as more than 300 pictures of Peter Deuel throughout his lifetime. Each disc contains exclusive pictures, some that overlap, but most don’t. Likewise for video.
September 2015: I’ve redesigned the Pete Duel Memorial Site Store, lowered prices, and added some new photos for sale. ALL proceeds are donated to The Animals Voice, a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization to defend animals worldwide. I hope you like the new look and the new pictures! —Laura
June 2015: I’m in the middle of redesigning the web site so that I can keep it updated and able to play Peter’s movies/videos both on a desktop computer as well as on mobile devices — and enable the Picture Gallery to work on iPads and iPhones. It means it’s a work in progress, so please be patient with me. Thank you! —Laura
As many of you already know, Peter was passionate about ecology decades before it became as popular as it is today. So, in his name, on this day, Earth Day, April 22, 2015, and to celebrate his love of nature, we announce that Peter’s brother, Geoffrey Deuel, will attend the Memphis Film Festival on June 11-June 13, 2015, in Tunica, Mississippi (30 miles south of Memphis, Tennessee), to answer questions, sign autographs, and sell photos. The Festival will mark Geoffrey’s first public appearance in 40 years.
Geoffrey co-starred with John Wayne in the major motion picture Chisum and acted in many various popular TV roles, including Marcus Welby, MD, The Monkees, Movin’ On with David Soul, Bonanza, The High Chaparral, Ironside, Cannon, The Streets of San Francisco with Michael Douglas, and, of course, he appeared with Peter in an episode of Name of the Game.
Geoffrey’s first photo album, “Geoffrey Deuel: On Camera,” will also be available at the Festival, either signed or unsigned. Should you have an interest in purchasing a copy before the Festival, please contact Jacqueline at email@example.com for details.
Additionally, a private and intimate brunch with Geoffrey for a handful of fans will be held on Sunday, June 14, following the Festival, so please don’t miss this opportunity to speak with him about his career, his life, and, of course, his brother. If you’re interested in purchasing a ticket to attend the brunch, contact Jacqueline at firstname.lastname@example.org for details.
We look forward to seeing you at the Memphis Film Festival!
